PRESIDENT OF AMERICAN BAPTIST SEMINARY GOES TO LVOV FOR GRADUATION OF STUDENTS OF UKRAINIAN BAPTIST SEMINARY

On 31 August 2019, a regular graduation of fifteen students of the masters' program was held in the Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary. They had studied in accordance with the curriculum of the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) and received a degree of master of theology of the international standard. For granting the diplomas to the graduates, the president of SEBTS, Dr. Daniel Akin, and his associate vice president for global theological study, John Ewart, flew to Lvov, Religiia v Ukraine reports, citing the website of Baptists of Ukraine.
Each of them had a special word of exhortation for the new masters. They also participated in the ceremony of granting diplomas. The president of Ukrainian Baptist Theological Seminary, Dr. Yaroslav Pyzh, and the director of masters' studies, Vasily Novakovets, also had a brief word of wishes and memories for the graduates.
Speaking for the graduates was their representative, Oleg Nesinets, who thanked everybody who had made possible the study and ceremonial graduation. Many thanks in prayers and songs were voiced to God.
The celebration occurred within the circle of the closest friends and families of the graduates; these people also made a weighty contribution to the achievement of their goals.
The Baptists also congratulated the senior presbyter of the Lvov Association of Churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, Oleg Bondar, for successful completion of masters' study.
