May 14- Stetson to hit the links to raise money for local scholarships

Gulfport, Fla. – Gulfport, Fla. – Stetson University’s Third Annual Tampa Bay Mad Hatter Classic Golf Tournament will raise money for scholarships for Tampa Bay undergraduate and law school students.
The tournament is scheduled for 12-6 p.m. on May 24 at Avila Golf and Country Club, 943 Guisando deAvila in Tampa.
With the generosity of area law firms, companies and individuals, the Mad Hatter Classic has raised more than $25,000 in its first two years. This has enabled Stetson to award five scholarships over the last two years for Tampa Bay students to attend Stetson. Close to 95 percent of Stetson students receive scholarships and need-based aid.
