Gulfport, Fla. – Stetson University College of Law will present information sessions for prospective part-time evening law students on Aug. 9 at the Tampa Law Center and on Aug. 30 at the Gulfport campus. Registration starts at 6 p.m., and each session will begin at 6:30 p.m. Both sessions will present the same information.

The sessions will provide information about the law school admission process, financial aid, part-time law curriculum, legal careers and part-time student perspectives on law school. The part-time law program at Stetson allows non-traditional students to attend evening classes in the fall, spring and summer semesters to complete a law degree in four years.

“Law school had long been an interest of mine, but with a family and a job, it seemed like that opportunity had passed me by,” said Patricia Calhoun, a Stetson part-time law student. “The professors have been willing to work with our part-time class, and they are truly motivated to help us be successful.”

Part-time students take classes at the Gulfport campus and the Tampa Law Center. The Gulfport campus is located at 1401 61st St. S., Gulfport, and the Tampa Law Center is located at 1700 N. Tampa St., Tampa.

The application deadline for the fall 2006 part-time class is March 1, 2006.
