Professor Robert Batey spoke with Latisha Gray at the Sarasota Herald Tribune about Florida’s hit-and-run laws for a story about a hit-and-run accident in which 17-year old motorist hit a bicyclist and then left the scene. The motorist returned to the scene and reported the incident to his mother, who called the police, and no charges were filed.
