Pursuant to the strategic plan, the College of Law, as of June 1, 2007, is launching an Institute of Caribbean Law and Policy, as part of the Center for Excellence in International Law. Dorothea Beane and Darryl Wilson will serving as co-directors of the Institute.

Rebecca was invited to present at an NBI (National Business Institute) program held on Thursday, April 5th, in Orlando titled "Find It Free and Fast on the Net: Strategies for Legal Research on the Web."

Ellen Podgor has co-authored an article with NACDL president Marty Pinellis for the National Law Journal on ethics rules bring used against attorneys who represent individuals at Guantánamo.

Professor Adams has been invited to by West to Egan, Minnesota to tour the West production facility and to serve on a panel of scholarship to discuss how to produce better casebooks.
