WHO: The public is invited to attend an expo on the Stetson University College of Law Gulfport campus to learn about financial frauds and scams, especially those targeting the elderly and seniors. ABC Action News’ Jackie Callaway, St. Petersburg Times’ Ivan Penn and Hillsborough County Consumer Protection Agency’s Kevin Jackson are scheduled to facilitate a town hall discussion about the latest scams.

WHAT: The Bay Area Elder Consumer Protection Expo provides attendees an opportunity to take advantage of identity theft protection services, including on-site document shredders, Do-Not-Call/Opt-Out registration, and credit reporting services. Expo attendees also will be treated to a continental breakfast and door prizes, as well as a tour of Stetson’s elder-friendly Eleazer Courtroom, the first of its kind in the country.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 20, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Town hall discussion 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
