On Aug. 24, Darby Dickerson, vice president and dean of Stetson Law, and Don Jose Luis Prado Maillard, dean of Nuevo Leon University Law School in Monterrey, Mexico, signed a student and faculty exchange agreement.

The agreement will bring the two schools together for joint research in oral advocacy, national security law and criminology and for the creation of joint certificates of Legal Spanish and Legal English. The exchange program begins immediately and calls for the exchange of two students and two faculty members for one or two semesters. Nuevo Leon University law school was established in 1933.
