Students learned about the practice of family law from a panel of local experts

Stetson’s Family Law Society student organization and career development office co-hosted an event on Nov. 5 in Gulfport for students interested in learning more about the practice of family law.

A panel of three local family law attorneys, Maria Bates ’07, Christine Derr and Nilo Sanchez ’93, discussed running a successful solo practice. Assistant Director of Career Development Korey Henson ’09 moderated the panel.

Family Law Society student president Alexa Revord spearheaded the event along with Henson, Joann Grages ’08 and Jennifer McGinnis of Stetson’s career development office.
