A native of Azerbaijan, Hajiyeva grew up in the midst of conflict herself and is focusing her graduate studies on the rights of children. Hajiyeva collected more than 50 pieces of artwork from children living in both conflict and non-conflict zones around the world. Gulfport’s City of Imagination and Professor Luz Nagle provided frames for the children’s artwork.

The art exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on display in the Larkin Room of the Dolly & Homer Hand Law Library, Stetson University College of Law, 1401 61st St. S., Gulfport.
