Recognizing excellence: Students, professor recognized by Judge John M. Scheb American Inns of Court

Stetson student Ryan Hedstrom received the Judge John M. Scheb Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award and was recognized along with students Andrew Cerchio, Kristina Merritt, Daniel Nawara, Juliann Welch and Professor of Law Dorothea Beane at the 25th Anniversary Gala of the Judge John M. Scheb American Inns of Court on May 10 in Sarasota.
Hedstrom was presented with a plaque by Robert Scheb J.D.’83, the son of the Inn’s namesake Judge John M. Scheb.
Professor Beane is former academic master of the Inn and co-director of the Institute for Caribbean Law and Policy at Stetson.
Patricia Toups, assistant director of development at Stetson law school, represented Stetson at the gala.
