Chapter of the Year: Student groups again recognized at Florida Bar meeting

Stetson law school student organizations were again honored as chapters of the year at the Florida Bar Annual Meeting in Orlando on June 17.

For the third year in a row, the Stetson Chapter of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division was named Chapter of the Year.

The group was also honored for Best Event for an “Evening of Etiquette.” Third-year Stetson Law student Natalie Yello was named Governor of the Year.

For the second year in a row, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers at Stetson was named Law Student Chapter of the Year. Incoming FAWLS president Chloe Wells accepted the award on behalf of FAWLS at the FAWL Annual Gala on June 16.

“Both of these organizations work tirelessly to put on stellar programs and always represent Stetson beautifully,” said Joann Grages Burnett, associate director in the career development office at Stetson. “I truly love working with their leadership teams and am confident that we will continue to see wonderful things from each organization next year.”
