Hurricane Matthew Weather Advisory – Stetson Law open on Friday

Dear Stetson Law community,

Stetson Law’s Emergency Management Team met late Thursday afternoon and continues to monitor Hurricane Matthew.

  • The College of Law does not plan to close our Gulfport campus or Tampa Law Center. We will not send another advisory unless weather conditions for the Tampa Bay area change.
  • Weather and other advisories will be sent out via email, text alerts, posted on the College of Law website, in our announcements and on social media.
  • Students, faculty and staff are reminded to sign up for text alerts from the College of Law advising on urgent matters including inclement weather.
  • For additional information about keeping you and your family safe, please visit Stetson Law’s Emergency Preparedness website with links to the text notification system, a storm checklist, and weather-related resources.
  • The personal safety of students, faculty, staff remains our highest priority.
    Students: If weather conditions create individual difficulties, please work with your professor and Dean Rozelle.
    Faculty and staff: If the weather conditions create individual difficulties, please work with your supervisor and our Office of Human Resources.
  • Stetson University’s DeLand and Celebration campuses remain closed through Sunday.
