Stetson expo educates seniors about scams and fraud in November

The public is invited to attend the Stetson Elder Consumer Protection Expo on Nov. 9 at the Stetson University College of Law Gulfport campus to learn how to guard against identity theft, unlicensed contracting, and other scams targeting seniors.

WHAT: Stetson’s expo features presentations about the latest scams and provides identity theft protection services including document shredding and registering for Do-No-Call / Opt-Out Pre-Screen and credit reporting services.

Door prizes, food and refreshments will be available.

WHEN:  Wednesday, Nov. 9, 12-5 p.m.

WHERE: The Dolly and Homer Hand Law Library at Stetson University College of Law, 1401 61st St. S., Gulfport.
