Stetson law school hosts Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Symposium in February

Stetson University College of Law hosts the third annual Inclusive Excellence in Teaching Symposium on Feb. 25 in Gulfport, Florida. Stetson faculty, staff and students are invited to participate.

The theme of this year’s symposium, Pedagogical Ecosystems, focuses on the idea that classrooms are like ecosystems where learning takes place among students and teachers from varied backgrounds and diverse perspectives.

“The symposium provides us with an opportunity to think collectively about how we teach and is part of our on-going commitment to ensuring an inclusive environment for our faculty, staff and students,” said Stetson Law Dean Christopher Pietruszkiewicz.

The symposium will provide Stetson University faculty and staff with the opportunity to discuss how they have transformed their teaching techniques and classroom spaces to accommodate a diverse student body.
