Dean Gardner recently presented a talk on the role of scientific advisory bodies in multilateral environmental agreements at the 13th International Wildlife Law Conference sponsored by Stetson in Granada, Spain. Dean Gardner also organized the conference and gave the opening presentation.

Dean Gardner recently participated in a Ramsar Scientific and Technical Review Panel in Wallingford, England, at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.

Professor Rozelle presented “As Infallible as Humanly Possible: Structural Problems in Capital Punishment,” at the Law and Society conference in June in San Francisco as part of a roundtable discussion of Ken Williams’s book, Most Deserving of Death: An Analysis of the Supreme Court’s Death Penalty Jurisprudence.

A trio of students from Stetson University College of Law won the top three awards at the 2011 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition in Orlando on June 23.   Stetson’s moot court team of Chad Burgess, Brooke Geiger, and Jason Lambert won the competition and the Best Brief award.
