Kate Bohl
On Thursday, May 3, Professor Bohl was a panelist in an hour-long piece on Rhode Island Public Access television. She presented her Roger Williams Law Review article on Gay Marriage in Rhode Island, and joined in a lively discussion with the Executive Director of Marriage Equality RI and the President of Roger Williams University's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Alliance. That evening, she presented my article again at Roger Williams University.

Congratulations to Prof. Carol Henderson on the recent release of the fifth edition of Scientific Evidence in Civil and Criminal Cases, which she co-edits with Andre A. Moenssens (Emeritus, Missouri-Kansas City) and Sharon Gross Portwood (North Carolina-Charlotte, Institute for Social Capital.
Bruce Jacob
Vandeplas Publishing has published Dean Jacobs's book, "Remembering a Great Lawyer: Harold L. "Tom" Sebring," which concerns our former Dean who also served as Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court (among other things). The book is based on a law-review article published in 2000 by the Stetson Law Review>.
Luz Nagle
Next week, Prof. Nagle will be giving a keynote address for an international organization in Nigeria; she also will be making a presentation to UNICEF officials and government officials in Nigeria regarding child trafficking. This week, she is participating on the internaqtional criminal law section panel at the ABA International Law Section meeting in Washington, D.C.

Professor Fox's article, entatively titled "The Law of Many Faces: The Ambiguous Origins of Reconstruction-Era Freedom of Contract," will be published in a 2008 issue of the peer-edited and prestigious American Journal of Legal History.
Stetson Law re-dedicates Florin Roebig Courtroom
Stetson University College of Law re-dedicated the Florin-Roebig Courtroom on the Gulfport campus at 1401 61st St. S. at 1 p.m. on April 19. One of Stetson’s premier teaching courtrooms, the Florin Roebig was renamed in honor of the Palm Harbor trial and litigation firm that made extensive contributions to the recently renovated space.
