The committee will be holding a hearing concerning the claims processing system for benefits including judicial review of those benefits determinations. In addition, at the request of a partnership between a non-profit entity and several state agencies, he spent two days this week in Tallahassee teaching high school teachers about the United States Constitution. This event is held as part of a recent state commitment to increase the teaching of civics in elementary and secondary schools in the state.
