This week, Kate spoke at the invitation of the Rhode Island Supreme Court about her recent article, "Gay Marriage in Rhode Island: A Big Issue for a Small State"; the presentation was part of a "Current Developments in Rhode Island Law" program.
Luz Nagle
Luz works with the ABA Committee on the Rule of law and Corruption. This Committee just finished a white paper for the ABA in which she had an active role. In addition, Luz will be participating in the International Rule of Law Symposium on Monday, April 16, 2007, in New York. The focus of the program is to discuss the white papers developed by the different committees. The papers outline what the ABA can do in areas of Economic Development, Human Trafficking, Corruption, Independent Judiciary, Corporate Responsibility and the Environment. This conference is by invitation only and advances the ABA's Plan of Action in advancing the rule of law at home and around the world.
