 The National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law at Stetson University College of Law and the National Institute of Justice will present a national conference to discuss emerging legal and scientific issues and trends in the use of scientific evidence in the courtroom.

The Judge Thomas Stringer Youth Pre-Law Conference will honor the achievements of the first black graduate of Stetson University College of Law and encourage minority students to pursue higher education and the legal profession. The program is set to begin at 10 a.m. Feb. 4 in the Carey and Florin Courtroom of Stetson’s Gulfport campus.
