The Gala commenced with a warm welcome from Daniel James Scott, the Director of the Prince Entrepreneurship Program, setting the tone for an evening filled with inspiration and recognition. Both Provost Elizabeth Skomp and the Dean of the School of Business Administration, Yiorgos Bakamitsos, participated in the evening’s celebration highlighting the University’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial excellence.
One of the highlights of the evening was the inaugural induction ceremony of the Sigma Nu Tau Honor Society, led by Dr. Kevin P. Taylor, recognizing exemplary students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to entrepreneurship.
The Gala also provided a platform to honor leaders and advocates within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Dr. John Tichenor, championing social entrepreneurship, and Sarah Ward, Graduate Assistant at the Family Enterprise Institute, shared insights into their respective areas of expertise.
The visionary founders of the Hatter Angel Network, Bill Andrews, Milt Douglass, and Dan Glunt, alongside student Isabella Degenhardt, exemplified the spirit of entrepreneurship and collaboration.
