On Oct. 26 and 27, the Human Resources Management team competed in the Human Resources Florida Student Case Competition that took place in Port Charlotte, FL. The Competition was sponsored by SHRM – HR FL (Society for Human Resource Management).
Alongside Dr. Sean Newman and Professor Paula Miller, the talented students Payton, Laila, Carter and Jocelyn represented Stetson University in this competition.
Although our team did not take first place, they were fantastic! The students were presented with a complex human capital problem, in which they had to develop a thoughtful business solution in order to guarantee a successful outcome while demonstrating outstanding oral presentation skills.
Congratulations to Payton, Laila, Carter, and Jocelyn on a job well done!
