Announcing SU Cultural Calendar Aug.-Oct. 2013

The Stetson University Cultural Calendar for August through October 2013, listed below, includes School of Music concerts, Stetson’s Second Stage Theatre productions and public lectures scheduled on the university’s DeLand campus.

The university’s inaugural Social Justice Lecture, the first in a new series, is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16 and will feature Peter Edelman, director of the Center on Poverty, Inequality and Public Policy at Georgetown University. Edelman’s lecture, entitled, So rich so poor: why it’s so hard to end poverty in America, is open to the public, free of charge.
