Morison Named to A-Sun All-Academic Squad
Stetson’s Ross Morison was named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic team for men’s soccer, the league office announced on Monday.
Chosen by the A-Sun’s Sports Information Directors and media relations personnel, the all-academic team consists of 11 student-athletes representing all eight league members. Players are chosen based on both athletic and academic achievements. To be nominated, a student-athlete must carry at least a 3.30 grade-point average and be enrolled at their respective institution for at least one full academic year.
Morison, a senior Psychology major with a 3.56 grade-point average, has appeared in 15 of Stetson’s 16 matches this season. He has scored a pair of goals and also recorded an assist. He has helped Stetson to an 8-6-2 overall record and a 4-2-0 A-Sun mark which helped Stetson finish third.
The Hatters open A-Sun Tournament play at 5 p.m., Wednesday against Northern Kentucky in Nashville, Tenn.
