An opinion article, “Video-Game Heroines Can Kick Sexism’s Butt,” written by Christopher Ferguson, Ph.D., associate professor and co-chair of Stetson’s Psychology Department, was published in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Dec. 6, 2015.

Law Professor Peter Lake spoke with the Feb. 21 Chronicle of Higher Education for the article, “Geoff Marcy’s Downfall: How the astronomer’s case signals a new era of activism against sexual harassment.” Lake is also quoted in the Feb. 19 Chronicle of Higher Education article, “Education Dept. Defends Its Approach to Title IX in Face of Senate Pressure.” Lake is quoted in the Feb. 19 Harvard Crimson article, “New Suit Further Scrutinizes Harvard’s Title IX Compliance.” Lake is also quoted in the Feb. 18 Tampa Bay Times article, “Florida State wrestled with Title IX interpretation in Jameis Winston case.”

Law Professor Charles Rose spoke with China International Radio for a story that aired Feb. 21 about Peter Liang’s conviction and parallels to the Michael Brown case.

On Feb. 19, PR Web reported in national outlets including the Legal Monitor Worldwide, WLOX and Benzinga that Stetson University College of Law’s National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law has partnered with the Law Enforcement Innovation Center at the University of Tennessee’s Institute for Public Service to launch a new free webinar.
