Stetson Theatre Arts Presents: The Greatest GenerationZ Nov. 17-20

Stetson University Theatre Arts presents Jaclyn Backhaus’ Men on Boats Feb. 16-19

Stetson University Theatre Arts continues its 117 season with the Senior Capstone production of Jackson Gray’s The Greatest GenerationZ which runs Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 17- 19, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3:00 p.m.

Generations clash across decades only to realize that their daily problems (both big and small) feel the same across time. Audience members are invited on a journey through time to witness how younger generations push back against the overbearing and overcritical voices of the past.

The Greatest GenerationZ gave us the opportunity to really discover what it means to be young”, says Director and Playwright, Jackson Gray. “The senior class wanted to represent the struggles of being faced with serious issues without a say in how they’re solved. We quickly realized that our generation wasn’t the only example of this.”

Come and experience this blast from the past and witness the ways in which past present and future generations are so different yet so similar at the same time.

The cast of The Greatest GenerationZ includes Hanna Swidler as EmmaDelicia Bent as Susan, Izais Ocasio as Micheal, Avery Heck as JessSianah Small as Ava and Amelia Heck as Mary.

Performances will take place at Stetson University Theatre Art’s Second Stage Theater at 600 N. Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL, 32820 located inside of the Museum of Art.

Ticket prices are as follows: $12 for adults, $10 for Seniors. Admission is free for Stetson students & faculty with a valid Stetson ID. Cultural Credit is available.
