Stetson University’s Homecoming 2023 is filled with excitement and anticipation, as it marks the second in-person Homecoming since 2019 with faculty, staff, students and alumni in attendance. This year’s Homecoming will also part the Stetson community’s celebration of a very long and rich history — 140 years, 1883 to 2023.

The Homecoming Schedule includes multiple fun and entertaining events across campus and in the DeLand community throughout the week. For students, the Spirit Expo at the CUB Circle, starts off the activities on Oct. 17. On the following day for the entire Stetson community, the Bonfire at Rinker Field really sets the Hatter spirit ablaze. 

Friday, Oct. 19, offers the chance to celebrate the university’s 140 years in style during Stetson Hat Sales at the Rinker Welcome Center, where the Presidential State of the University Address also takes place. 

Saturday, Oct. 20, is highlighted by a football game (of course), as the Hatters host the University of St. Thomas, 1 p.m., at Spec Martin Stadium. Later that day, 6-10 p.m., is the Homecoming Block Party in Downtown DeLand (Georgia Avenue). 

And so on!

Hatter Nation, this is one celebration that promises to be historical.
