• On Oct. 30, the Albany Herald and other media outlets published “Social justice expert to speak at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College,” detailing a Nov. 7 presentation by Professor Rajni Shankar-Brown, PhD, Stetson’s Jessie Ball duPont Endowed Chair of Social Justice Education.
• In the Tallahassee Democrat on Oct. 24, and subsequently published by other media, “Missed the Leon County School Board meeting? Here a few highlights” includes mention of a fruitful Stetson partnership with the Leon Classroom Teachers Association.

• “Energy bills are costing Central Floridians, especially seniors on fixed incomes,” posted on Central Florida Public Media Oct. 29, included insight from Randall Croom, PhD, associate professor of Management.
• On Oct. 28, The Suburban Times and other outlets published “Myths and Legends,” which included coverage of the Tacoma Youth Symphony and alumnus Carlos Velez of the School of Music.
• On Oct 28, Florida Record and others published “Stetson Law Raises $30k for Storm Relief – But Need is Still Great,” reporting about efforts related to hurricanes Helene and Milton.

• On Oct. 25, Spot on Florida and other media outlets published “Stetson University Named a Green College by Princeton Review for 9th Time,” recognized environment vigilance.
• The Brooklyn Rail published “Alethea Pace’s Counter-archival Choreographies” on Oct. 24, which was later published by other media. The artful profile was authored by alumnus Urayoán Noel of Stetson’s MFA of the Americas program.
• In HappenNext, “An evening of Holiday Bossa Nova with Ella & The Bossa Beat” was posted on Oct. 28. Among the featured performers was alumnus Ella Borges, who graduated with a degree in International Business and Music.
