
Shelby Ponton – Editor in Chief
Shelby Ponton is a third-year student and Editor in Chief of the Stetson Law Review. She is from Mooresville, North Carolina and graduated from Transylvania University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Writing, Rhetoric, and Communication. Prior to law school, Shelby worked as an Animal Cruelty Investigator and a Rescue/Foster Coordinator. During the 2023 summer, Shelby interned for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew, Catherine Peek McEwen, and Anthony Porcelli at the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division. Shelby is currently a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board, an Associate on Stetson Business Law Review, and a member of the student organization Parents Attending Law School. Thus far, Shelby’s favorite law school classes are Conflict of Laws, Healthcare Law, and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Shelby spent her 2024 summer with Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C. and is excited to return to the Firm after graduation! Outside of law school, Shelby enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons!

Spencer Muskopf – Executive Editor
Spencer is a third-year student from Fort Worth, Texas. He earned his B.S. from the University of North Texas. At Stetson Law, Spencer has served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Podgor and as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Susan Bucklew in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also a proud member of Stetson Law’s Moot Court team and has competed in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. When he’s not studying or completing law review assignments, Spencer loves exploring new places with his wife, Rachel, and chilling with their tortoiseshell cat, Leota.

Jessica Faucher – Managing Editor
Jessica Faucher is a third-year student and the Managing Editor of Stetson Law Review. She is from Lake City, Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A.in history. Jessica was Stetson Law Review’s 2024 Spring Scholarship Luncheon Presenter on her article: “Protection or Indifference: Why the Arizona v. Navajo Nation Decision Doesn’t Hold Water.” And is also a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board. She externed for the Honorable Christopher Tuite at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, and interned for the Honorable Edward C. LaRose at Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal. Jessica was a 2024 summer associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in the firm’s Tampa office and looks forward to returning to the firm in 2025 as an associate in its Banking and Financial Services group. Outside of law school, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dog Gus.

Jonathan Gardner – Research Editor
Jon Gardner is a third-year student who serves as the Research Editor of Stetson Law Review. He is from Coral Springs, Florida and graduated from UCF with a B.S.B.A. in Business Economics. He is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution Board’s negotiation team. Outside of law school, he enjoys watching college football, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their two Australian Shepherds.

Zoë DePecol – Symposium Editor
Zoë DePecol is a third-year law student who is a Scholarship and Symposium Editor for Stetson Law Review. In her second year, Zoë was an Articles and Symposia Editor. She is from New Port Richey, FL and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Mathematics. Prior to law school, Zoë was involved in her sorority with Alpha Chi Omega which participated with the philanthropic organization Peaceful Paths: an organization dedicated to domestic violence awareness and rehabilitation. During the Fall 2023 semester, Zoë was a Teaching Assistant with Dean Bent for Civil Procedure, and during the Spring 2024 semester, Zoë was an Extern at the U.S. Middle District Court with Judge Honeywell. Her interests after law school broadly include business and tax law. Outside of law school, she enjoys music festivals and live music, fitness, CrossFit, running, yoga, going to the beach, and watching reality TV (alongside some vino… of course).

Ronny Legare – Marketing Editor
Ronny Legare is a 3L student and the Marketing Editor for Stetson Law Review. He is from Jacksonville Beach, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in economics and a minor in biology. Prior to law school, Ronny was actively involved at Florida State University where he was involved as a financial peer mentor, the student conduct board, and homecoming court. In addition to Law Review, Ronny is currently involved with the Student Bar Association as the Alumni Chair and 3L representative and as Senior Deputy-Chief of Tours and Engagement for Stetson Ambassadors. Ronny has also served as a teaching assistant for Contracts and Business Entities. His favorite class at Stetson was Contracts. While not studying, Ronny enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and family, and going for walks in Downtown St. Pete.

Caleb Spano – Local Government Editor
Caleb Spano is a third-year student and the Local Government Editor. He is from Brandon, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in History. Prior to law school, Caleb spent five years working at his father’s estate planning law firm. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Trial Advocacy and Evidence. Outside of law school, he enjoys reading about American history, watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and going on walks with his wife, Hannah.

Marisa A. Infante – Online Editor
Marisa Infante is a third-year student and the Online Editor. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Art History. Prior to law school, Marisa received her Master of Philosophy in Classical Archaeology from the University of Oxford. She is a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board, an associate on Stetson Business Law Review, and a Campus to Career Fellow. Her favorite classes at Stetson has been Civil Procedure, Torts, and International Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys practicing yoga, going to the dog beach with her French Bulldog, Gibbs, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Riley A. Lazzara – Senior Articles & Symposia Editor
Riley Lazzara is a third-year student and the Senior Articles & Symposia Editor. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Public Relations. Prior to law school, Riley interned at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court where she familiarized herself with the judicial system before beginning law school. After her 1L year, she interned at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division under a U.S. Magistrate Judge, Bankruptcy Judge, and then a U.S. District Judge. She has been a Teaching Assistant for Professor Ashely K. Chase’s Research & Writing I and Research & Writing II classes. Riley served as the Co-Deputy Chief of Alumni Relations for Stetson Ambassadors and will go on to serve as Deputy Chief of Policy & Hours her 3L year. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts, Trusts & Estates, and Trial Advocacy. Outside of law school, she enjoys going on runs and spending time with her family.

Maria Gaglio – Articles & Symposia Editor
Maria Gaglio a third-year student and an Articles and Symposium editor. She is from Clermont, Florida and graduated from Stetson University with a B.S. in Psychology. Prior to law school, Maria worked as a writing tutor. She is currently a member of the Cheatwood Inn of Court and has previously served as a Research and Writing TA. She is currently a TA for Criminal Procedure: Adjudication. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Privacy law and Evidence. Outside of law school, she enjoys baking and doing crafts.

Morgan Lewis – Articles & Symposia Editor
Morgan Lewis is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia Editor. She is from Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Behavioral Health Science. Prior to law school, Morgan worked as a server in Arizona and was involved in several organizations dedicated to raising awareness for pediatric cancer: The Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children and The Love Your Melon Club. During law school, Morgan has served as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Bent, a Research Assistant to Professor Jimenez, and an intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Property Law and Civil Procedure. Outside of law school, she enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her dog Mazie.

Evangelia Manias – Articles & Symposia Editor
Evangelia Manias is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia Editor. She is from Palm Harbor, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in May 2023 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Prior to law school, Evangelia was an active member in various pharmaceutical organizations including the American Pharmacists Association, Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society, and PediaGators. During law school, Evangelia has served as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Virelli and as an intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Evangelia also serves as a Deputy Chief of Mentoring for Stetson Ambassadors and is involved with Stetson’s Elder Law Society. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Civil Procedure and Property. Outside of law school, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and watching hockey.

Alex Polidan – Articles & Symposia Editor
Alex is a third-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. He is from Cape Coral, Florida and graduated from University of Florida with a B.A. in Criminology. Prior to law school, Alex served as a Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently an associate member of Stetson Business Law Review. His favorite class at Stetson has been Property with Professor Adams. Outside of law school, he enjoys playing golf, listening to Pardon My Take, and Florida Gators football.

Drew Valenti – Articles & Symposia Editor
Drew Valenti is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia Editor. He is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of Miami, where he majored in International Relations. During law school, Drew interned for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is also the Treasurer for the Innocence Initiative and a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and Lambda Legal Society. Outside of law school, Drew enjoys swimming, traveling, and thrifting vintage furniture.

Sarah Yi – Articles & Symposia Editor
Sarah Yi is a third-year student and an Articles & Symposia Editor. She is from Tampa, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Microbiology and a B.A. in Spanish. Prior to law school, Sarah worked as a paralegal. She is currently an associate on Stetson Business Law Review and previously served as a teaching assistant for Research & Writing II and Criminal Law. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Administrative Law and Real Property. Outside of law school, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing with her dog, Oliver.

Caitlin C. Carey – Senior Notes & Comments Editor
Caitlin Carey is a third-year part time student and a Notes & Comments editor. She is from Clearwater, Florida and graduated from Johnson & Wales with a B.S. in Food & Beverage Management. She also received an M.S. in Brand Marketing from Georgetown University. Prior to law school, Caitlin worked in Food & Beverage Management in the hotel industry. She is currently a Teaching Assistant for Trial Advocacy, Treasurer of Maritime Law Society, a Part Time Representative for SBA, and a member of the Advocacy Concentration. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Trial Advocacy. Outside of law school, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going to the beach.

Miracle Amiot – Notes & Comments Editor
Miracle Amiot is a second-year student and a Notes and Comments Editor. She is from Orlando, Florida, and graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in Philosophy and English (A Double Hatter!). Miracle spent her summer of 2024 interning for the U.S. Coast Guard JAG office in Hawaii and currently works at Rios Immigration Law Firm. She is currently a teaching assistant for Research & Writing I and loves coaching the local roller derby team, Sunshine City Roller Derby. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Evidence and Constitutional Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing roller derby, CrossFit, cooking, and watching movies during her lunch breaks.

Patricia Bishop – Notes & Comments Editor
Patricia Bishop is a second-year student and a Notes & Comments Editor. She is from DeLand, Florida and graduated from Flagler College with a B.A. in Philosophy with minors in Political Science and History. Prior to law school, Patricia worked at a boutique law firm in Orlando. Her favorite classes so far have been Civil Procedure and Contracts. During law school, Patricia has been an active member of the Moot Court Board, a Stetson Ambassador, and a Research Assistant to Professor James Hart. She also gained valuable experience through an in-house counsel internship. Outside of law school, Patricia enjoys international travel, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Asa Guydo is a second-year student from Ormond Beach, Florida. Asa graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Finance. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts and Civil Procedure. Outside of classes, Asa enjoys watching sitcoms, playing guitar, and taking walks.

Ezequiel Vargas is a second-year student and a Notes & Comments Editor. He is from Seattle, Washington and graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Philosophy. Prior to law school, Ezequiel interned at Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society. During law school, Ezequiel has served as Parliamentarian for the Honorable Amelia G. Govan Black Law Students Association. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Civil Procedure and Evidence. Outside of law school, he enjoys visiting museums, listening to music, and writing movie reviews.

Benjamin Lindquist – Assistant Executive Editor
Ben Lindquist is a third-year student and the Assistant Executive Editor of Stetson Law Review. He is from Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Legal Studies. Prior to law school, Ben worked as a paralegal at an elder law firm in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He is currently the Ministry Chair of Stetson’s Christian Legal Society chapter. After law school, he will be serving as a judicial law clerk for Hon. William Jung of the Middle District of Florida. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking, photography, and spending time with family.

Abigail Leahy – Assistant Managing Editor
Abby Leahy is a second-year student and Assistant Managing Editor. She is from Palmetto, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Criminology. Prior to law school, Abby served as head of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Board as well as head of the Accountability and Support Board at Kappa Delta. She is currently a member (and biggest supporter) of Stetson’s Knitting Circle, as well as the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Intellectual Property Law and Contracts. Outside of law school, she enjoys cooking, antiquing, and spending time with friends and family.

Isabel Troncoso – Assistant Research Editor
Isabel Troncoso is a second-year student and the Assistant Research Editor. She was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. Prior to law school, Isabel worked as a Medical Assistant for an orthopedic surgeon and received her Juris Master in Healthcare Regulation from Florida State University. She is currently a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board. Her favorite classes at Stetson are Contract Law and Property Law. Outside of law school, Isabel enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with family.

Nick Colicci is a second-year student and the Assistant Symposium & Scholarship Editor. He is from Portsmouth, Rhode Island and graduated from the University of Rhode Island with degrees in Business Administration and Political Science. Prior to law school, Nick worked in financial services at Fisher Investments and in litigation at Foley & Lardner LLP. Nick is a member of Stetson’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and serves as a Research Assistant for Professor Ashley Krenelka Chase. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Civil Procedure and Real Property. Outside of law school, Nick enjoys spending time with his fiancée, playing golf, and rooting for Boston sports.

Adriana Louth-Ciaccio – Assistant Marketing Editor
Adriana Louth-Ciaccio is a second-year law student and assistant marketing editor. She is from Windermere, Florida, and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in International Affairs and an M.S. in Law Enforcement Intelligence. Prior to law school, Adriana was actively involved in Florida State University’s Panhellenic community, where she served as the Vice President of Chapter Programming and Development for her sorority. She is currently engaged with the First Generation Law Student Association as Secretary and the Business Law Society as a general member. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Business Entities. Outside of law school, she enjoys going for walks, attending movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Paul Castellano – Assistant Local Government Editor
Paul Castellano is a second-year student and the Assistant Local Government Editor. He was born in New York City, raised in Jupiter, Florida, and graduated from High Point University with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to law school, Paul worked in real estate with a focus on real estate portfolio management, acquisitions, and 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. His work included management and oversight of property holdings in New York City and North Carolina. Paul’s favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts, Real Property, and Land Use. Outside of law school, he enjoys golf, fishing, and watching the New York Yankees.

Morgan is a fourth-year student and the Assistant Online Editor. She is from Dixie County, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education & Communications with a minor in Agricultural & Natural Resource Law. During law school, she has clerked at several civil firms, interned at the State Attorney’s Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, and previously served as a Research Assistant for Professor Boals. She is currently the President of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, a member of the Advocacy concentration, and recently concluded the Stetson Honors Colloquium program. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Trial Advocacy. Outside of law school, she enjoys boating, movies, working out, and spending time with her friends and pets.
