
Kathryn Alkire – Editor in Chief
Kathryn Alkire is a third-year student from Lafayette, Indiana. Kathryn graduated from Columbia College with a B.A. in Human Services and a minor in Psychology. Prior to law school, Kathryn worked as a social worker for a non-profit, domestic adoption agency assisting in the placements of over 100 children. She competes on the mediation team for the Dispute Resolution Board and her favorite class at Stetson has been White Collar Crime. Outside of law school, she enjoys swimming, gardening, bucket list journaling, and DIY projects.

Samuel J. Ciulla – Executive Editor
Samuel Ciulla is a third-year student from Odessa, Florida. Samuel graduated from Southeastern University with a B.S. in Legal Studies. Prior to law school, Samuel interned at the State Attorney’s Office for the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida and worked as an interim teacher at Odessa Christian School. He is currently a member of Phi Delta Phi. His favorite class at Stetson has been Land Use Law. Outside of law school, he enjoys hiking, fishing, trying new restaurants, and fragrance collecting.

Caroline Calavan – Managing Editor
Caroline Calavan is a third-year student from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Caroline graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Art History. She is currently an Articles & Symposia Editor for the Stetson Business Law Review. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts and Administrative Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys yoga, walking her dog, and visiting art galleries.

Jacquelyn Christoph – Marketing Editor
Jacquelyn Christoph is a third-year law student and the Stetson Law Review Marketing Editor. She is from Eatonville, Washington, and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with a B.S. in Psychology. Christoph also graduated from Brenau University with an MBA. Prior to law school, she was a collegiate soccer player for four years, and worked in Economic Development and Marketing. She is currently a member of Stetson’s Trial Team and a member of Stetson’s Business Concentration. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Trial Advocacy and Business Entities. Outside of law school, Christoph enjoys working out, traveling, and learning new skills.

Nancy Eriksen – Research Editor
Nancy Eriksen is a second-year student from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Nancy graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology. Prior to law school, Nancy served as an officer in the United States Air Force. She is currently a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board and Secretary for the Innocence Initiative at Stetson Law. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Constitutional Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys running and biking the Pinellas Trail.

Hope Corbit – Local Government Editor
Hope Corbit is a third-year student and the Local Government editor. She is from Long Beach, Mississippi and graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a B.S. in Music. Prior to law school, Hope was a college bookstore manager for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, Colorado. She is currently in the Business Law Concentration and the Executive Editor of the Stetson Business Law Review. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Land Use Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys having fun in the sun with her husband, son, and two amazing dogs.

R. Tyler Vansant – Online Editor
Tyler Vansant is a third-year part-time student and the Online Forum editor. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, he holds a B.A. in economics from Auburn University and an M.B.A. in finance from Georgia State University. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Land for a large national homebuilder in the Tampa-Sarasota market. His main interests are in the areas of land-use and environmental law. Outside of law school and his career, he enjoys golf and traveling with his family (wife of 23 years and three sons).

Elizabeth Alderson – Articles & Symposia Editor
Elizabeth Alderson is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia Editor. She is from Dunedin, Florida. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Central Florida with B.M.E. in Music Education in 2016 and a B.A. in Political Science in 2021. Prior to law school, Alderson worked as a middle school band director. She is currently Vice President of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society and 2L Representative in the Student Bar Association. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Property Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys going to local yoga studios, gardening, and traveling.

Noah Anderson – Articles & Symposia Editor
Noah Anderson is a third-year student from Fort Myers, Florida. Noah graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.A. in World History. Prior to law school, Noah was enrolled at his alma mater in their History M.A. program, worked as a writing tutor, and interned in business development. He is currently the vice president of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Association and a member of the business law concentration. Outside of law school, Noah enjoys playing soccer, hiking, cycling, creative writing, and reading obscure fiction.

Slade Brown – Articles & Symposia Editor
Jason Slade Brown is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. Slade is from Orange City, Florida and graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in History with a minor in Business Law. Prior to law school, Slade was a member on the Board of Trustees at his church, First Church Deland, and spent the spring before law school coaching high school baseball at University High in Orange City. He is currently a teaching assistant for Professor Finch’s Civil Procedure class and a member of the Moot Court Board. Slade’s favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts and Torts. Outside of law school, he enjoys hiking (250+ miles completed on the Appalachian Trail), watching the Atlanta Braves, playing disc golf, and fishing.

Arissa Cannella – Articles & Symposia Editor
Arissa Cannella is a third-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Business Administration with a specialization in pre-law. Prior to law school, Arissa was a First Year Florida Peer Leader and Peer Mentor for the Dean of Students Office at the University of Florida, as well as the Social/Outreach Director for the Student Admissions Officers organization at the University of Florida. She is currently the Managing Editor for the Stetson Business Law Review and a member of the Honors Program. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Criminal Procedure and Civil Procedure. Outside of law school, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Megan Clary – Articles & Symposia Editor
Megan is a third-year student and an articles and symposia editor. She is from Oldsmar, FL, and graduated from Florida State with a B.A. in History. Prior to law school, Clary was involved in various running community groups and volunteered at museums and gardens in Tallahassee. She is currently involved in FAWLS and RPPTL at Stetson. Her favorite class at Stetson has been international environmental law with Professor Gardner. Outside of law school, she enjoys spending time with her family and her pug Steve.

Kaitlyn Harrison – Articles & Symposia Editor
Kaitlyn Harrison is a third-year student at Stetson Law and is an Articles and Symposia Editor for Stetson Law Review. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in English Literature. At Stetson, she has been a teaching assistant for Professor Podgor and is involved in the Student Bar Association. Kaitlyn’s favorite class in law school has been civil procedure. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing lacrosse and spending time with her cat, Marble.

Megan Holmes – Articles & Symposia Editor
Megan Holmes is a third-year student and Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Baxter, Minnesota and graduated from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology in 2015. Prior to law school, Holmes worked as a community organizer and journalist. She is currently a member of the Social Justice Advocacy Concentration and a Racial Justice Fellow with the SPHERE consortium. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Social Justice Advocacy & The Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys coaching CrossFit, watching live music, going hiking, and playing with her Shiba Inu, Max.

James G. Meslener – Articles & Symposia Editor
James is a third-year student and Articles & Symposia, editor. He is from Garrison, New York, and graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Business Management. Prior to law school, Meslener worked at Sykes Enterprise in downtown Tampa. He is currently the President of the Federalist Society. His favorite class at Stetson has been Civil Procedure with Professor Virelli. Outside of law school, he enjoys watching baseball.

Hailey Schlotthauer – Articles & Symposia Editor
Hailey Schlotthauer is a second-year student and Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Sarasota, Florida and graduated from Butler University with a B.S in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to law school, Hailey created a start-up business with her friends and was an active member of the Best Buddies organization. She is currently the Research editor for Stetson Business Law Review. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Contracts. Outside of law school, she enjoys baking, going on walks, and listening to podcasts.

Thomas Fuhrman – Notes & Comments Editor
Thomas Fuhrman is a third-year student and a Notes and Comments editor on Stetson Law Review. He is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. in English. Prior to law school, Thomas worked for a political lobbying firm, Ballard Partners. He is currently a Teaching Assistant for Research and Writing I and II. He is a member of the Moot Court Board. His favorite class at Stetson has been Administrative Law. Outside of law school, he enjoys reading, being outdoors, and going to the movies.

Hilleary Gramling is a third-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. She is from Tampa, FL and graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Creative Writing/English and Art History. Prior to law school, Gramling worked as an Executive Assistant for McKinsey & Company. She is participating in the Public Defender Clinic for the Sixth Judicial Circuit for her 3L fall semester. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Criminal Law with Professor Flowers. Outside of law school, she enjoys reading and cooking.

Sophia LaFrance is a second-year student and a Notes and Comments editor. She is originally from Los Angeles, California, and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Telecommunication. Prior to law school, LaFrance worked at ESPN at the company’s headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, where she also competed for the title of Miss Connecticut USA. She is currently a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society and a teaching assistant for Professor Flowers. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Criminal Law and Constitutional Law. Outside of law school, Sophia enjoys cooking and traveling.

Setyo Laksono is a second-year student and a Notes and Comments editor. He is from Clermont, Florida and graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in International Studies and Russian Studies. Prior to law school, Laksono worked as a world history teacher at Boca Ciega High School. He is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution Board and Stetson Business Law Review. Sasha is a third-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. She is from Kendallville, Indiana and graduated from The University of Tampa with a B.A. in psychology. Prior to law school, Sasha worked in outside sales across various industries. She is currently a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research & Writing I and II. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Commercial Transactions with Professor Adams. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her children, Peyton (9) and Austin (4).

Cal Raubolt is a third-year student and a Notes & Comments Editor. He is from Manchester, Kentucky and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Philosophy. He is also a Notes & Comments Editor on the Stetson Business Law Review and a Teaching Assistant for both Research and Writing I & II. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Constitutional Law and American Legal History. Outside of law school, he enjoys reading, meditating, and exercise.

Maya Trevathan – Notes & Comments Editor
Maya Trevathan is a third-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. She was raised in Key West, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in Editing, Writing, and Media. Prior to law school, Trevathan worked as a fashion model and then a digital marketer. She is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution (DR) Board and was the winner of the 2022 Magnolia Cup, a transactional negotiation tournament. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Law Through the Lens of Poetry and Torts. Outside of law school, Trevathan enjoys barre classes; the beach; reading and writing for fun; and spending time with her fiancé, future stepchildren, and two-different-eye-colored dog.

Madeline Thompson – Notes & Comments Editor
Madeline Thompson is a third-year student and a Notes and Comments editor. She is from Key West, Florida and graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to law school, Thompson was the Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity at Stetson University and graduated with her undergraduate degree a year early. While in law school, she has worked as a teaching assistant for Research and Writing I & II and is a member of the Stetson Honors Program. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Evidence. Outside of law school, she enjoys going to the beach, playing intramural softball, and hanging out with her dog.

Natalie Baine – Assistant Research Editor
Natalie Baine is a third-year student from West Memphis, Arkansas. She graduated college from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Criminology. During her time at Stetson, Natalie has been a Research Assistant for Dr. Davis and a Teaching Assistant for Pre-Trial Procedure. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Evidence. Outside of law school, she enjoys running, going to the beach, and visiting her family.

Faith M. Gosselin – Assistant Online Editor
Faith Gosselin is a second-year student and an Assistant Online Editor. She is from Derby, Vermont and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Criminology. Prior to law school, Faith served as the Project Manager for a service-learning research project which allowed her to volunteer for the organization, Support the Troops, regularly. She is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution Board at Stetson. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Property Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing soccer, running with her dog, and spending time on the boat.

Cameron Kubly – Assistant Editor-in-Chief
Cameron Kubly is a second-year student and Assistant Editor-in-Chief. He is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Prior to law school, Cameron worked as a freelance theatre artist around Florida and in New York City. He is currently a Research Assistant for Professor Ellen Podgor and looks forward to assisting Professor Lance Long with his Research & Writing course next spring. His favorite class at Stetson has been Civil Procedure with Professor Virelli. Outside of law school, Cameron enjoys going fishing, playing football, seeing theatre, and spending time with his wonderful wife, Emma.

Sam McDougall – Assistant Marketing Editor
Sam McDougall is a second-year student from Gainesville, Florida. Sam graduated from University of South Florida with a B.S. in Economics and International Business. Prior to law school, Sam taught English in Thailand to students in rural villages. He is a member on the Dispute Resolution Board and is passionate about International Sales Law and Property Law. Outside the classroom, Sam is passionate about Muay Thai, spearfishing, and photography.

Nick Westcott – Assistant Local Government Editor
Nick Westcott is a second-year student and the Assistant Local Government Editor. He is from Rocky Mount, North Carolina and graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing in Government and Communications. Prior to law school, Nick worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. as the Director of Advance for former Secretary Sonny Perdue. He is also an Associate Member of the Stetson Business Law Review. His favorite class at Stetson has been Torts. Outside of law school, he enjoys going on walks with his wife, Lauren, and their two dogs, Charlie and Milo.

Emily A. Zott – Assistant Executive Editor
Emily Zott is a second-year student and the Assistant Executive Editor. She is from Glastonbury, Connecticut and graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to law school, Emily worked as a manager at a movie theater chain, focusing on Human Resources operations. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Constitutional Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys quilting and playing games with friends and family.
