Cameron Kubly – Editor in Chief

Cameron Kubly is a third-year student and the Editor in Chief. He is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Prior to law school, Cameron spent several years in the theatre industry, splitting his time between Florida and New York City. During law school, Cameron has served as a Teaching Assistant for Professors Long, Lopez, and Palmer, a Research Assistant for Professor Podgor, and an intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. His favorite class at Stetson has been Business Entities with Professor Stein. Outside of law school, he enjoys performing in local theatre productions, watching and playing football, and traveling with his wife, Emma. 


Emily Zott – Executive Editor

Emily is a third-year student and the Executive Editor. She is from Glastonbury, CT and graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in French. Prior to law school, Emily worked as a manager at a movie theater chain, focusing on Human Resources operations. She is currently the Research Editor for Stetson Business Law Review and previously served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Podgor’s Criminal Law class. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Commercial Transactions. Outside of law school, she enjoys quilting and rock climbing. 


Elizabeth Alderson – Managing Editor

Elizabeth Alderson is a third-year student and the Managing Editor. She is from Dunedin, Florida. Elizabeth graduated from the University of Central Florida with B.M.E. in Music Education in 2016 and a B.A. in Political Science in 2021. Prior to law school, Alderson worked as a middle school band director. She is currently Vice President of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society and 3L Representative in the Student Bar Association. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Property Law. Outside of law school, she enjoys going to local yoga studios, gardening, and traveling.


Sophia LaFrance – Marketing Editor

Sophia LaFrance is a third-year student and the Marketing editor. She is from Los Angeles, California and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Telecommunication. Prior to law school, Sophia worked at ESPN and represented her town in Miss USA state pageants. She is currently a member of the Moot Court Board, the President of the Federalist Society, and a Teaching Assistant to Professor Peter Lake for Torts. Sophia is also the first Stetson student to complete the Blackstone Legal Fellowship. Her favorite class has been Conflict of Laws. Outside of law school, she enjoys leading professional development workshops for young women through the platform she created, Empower to Succeed. 


Slade Brown – Research Editor

Jason Slade Brown is a third-year student and the Research Editor. Slade is from Orange City, Florida and graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in History with a minor in Business Law. Prior to law school, Slade was a member on the Board of Trustees at his church, First Church Deland, and spent the spring before law school coaching high school baseball at University High in Orange City. He is currently a teaching assistant for Professor Finch’s Civil Procedure class and a member of the Moot Court Board. Slade’s favorite classes at Stetson have been Contracts and Torts. Outside of law school, he enjoys hiking (250+ miles completed on the Appalachian Trail), watching the Atlanta Braves, playing disc golf, and fishing.


Nicholas Westcott – Local Government Editor

Nick Westcott is a third-year student and the Local Government Editor. He is from Rocky Mount, North Carolina and graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing in Government and Communications. Prior to law school, Nick worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. as the Director of Advance for former Secretary Sonny Perdue. He is also a Notes & Comments Editor of the Stetson Business Law Review. His favorite class at Stetson has been Trial Advocacy. Outside of law school, he enjoys going on walks with his wife, Lauren, and their two dogs, Charlie and Milo. 


Faith M. Gosselin – Online Editor

Faith Gosselin is a third-year student and the Online Forum Editor. She is originally from Derby, Vermont and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Criminology. Prior to law school, Faith served as the Project Manager for a service-learning research project which allowed her to volunteer with Support the Troops regularly. She is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution Board at Stetson. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Property Law and Payment Systems. Outside of law school, she enjoys playing soccer, running with her dog, and spending time on the boat.


Zoë DePecol – Articles & Symposia Editor

Zoë DePecol is a second-year law student who is an Articles and Symposia editor for Stetson Law Review. She is from New Port Richey, FL and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Mathematics. Prior to law school, Zoë was involved in her sorority with Alpha Chi Omega which participated with the philanthropic organization Peaceful Paths: an organization dedicated to domestic violence awareness and rehabilitation. Currently, she is volunteering under an attorney in the tax division with Gulfcoast Legal Services: an organization which provides legal services for persons who face the deprivation of critical human needs, such as food, shelter, income, health care, family stability or personal safety. Her favorite class at Stetson thus far has been Civil Procedure, which she is a Teaching Assistant for with Dean Bent this Fall 2023. Outside of law school, she enjoys fitness, running, yoga, going to the beach, and watching reality TV.

Jessica Faucher is a second-year student and an Articles and Symposium editor. She is from Lake City, Florida and graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A.in history. Prior to law school, Jessica worked as a bartender in Lake City. She is currently a member of Stetson’s moot court board and an intern at the Second District Court of Appeal. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Contracts. Outside of law school, she enjoys reading and spending time with her dog Gus.

Riley Lazzara is a second-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Public Relations. Prior to law school, Riley completed an internship in content creation and then went on to intern at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court where she familiarized herself with the judicial system before beginning law school. She is currently a teaching assistant for Professor Ashley Krenelka Chase’s Research & Writing I class and the Deputy Chief of Alumni Relations for Stetson Ambassadors. Miranda is a third-year student from Lakeland, Florida. Miranda graduated from Florida Southern College with a B.S. in political science and minors in English and philosophy. Her favorite classes at Stetson have been Real Property and Consumer Law. Outside of classes, she enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Eloise and Walter.

Hailey Schlotthauer is a second-year student and Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Sarasota, Florida and graduated from Butler University with a B.S in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to law school, Hailey created a start-up business with her friends and was an active member of the Best Buddies organization. Isabella Taylor Scott – Articles & Symposia Editor

Isabella Taylor Scott is a third-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Bonifay, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Professional Communication with a Minor in Political Science. Prior to law school, Isabella worked with the public through her roles at Elvis Presley’s Graceland, the Office of the Dean at FSU, and at the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. During law school, Isabella has served as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Finch and Professor Bunting. She has also served as a Federal Judicial Extern to the Honorable Julie Sneed at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Criminal Law taught by Professor Podgor. Outside of law school, she enjoys taking barre, pilates, and HIIT classes, reading for leisure, and exploring new places in the Tampa Bay area.

Juliana is a third-year student and an Articles & Symposia editor. She is from Wesley Chapel, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Sociology and a Minor in Law and Society. Prior to law school, Juliana took a gap year where she volunteered at mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics. She is currently Secretary of Public Service Fellows and Her favorite class at Stetson has been Evidence with Professor Boals. Ben Lindquist is a second-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. He is from Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in Legal Studies. Prior to law school, Ben worked as a paralegal at an elder law firm in Gulf Breeze, Florida. He is currently Vice President of Stetson’s Federalist Society chapter. Maria Lozonschi is a third-year student and a Notes and Comments editor. She is from Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from University of California–Irvine with a B.A. in International Studies. Prior to law school, Maria worked at The Market Project, a non-profit assisting in the rehabilitation and employment of trauma, exploitation, and human trafficking victims. She is currently an active member of the Moot Court Board. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Criminal Procedure–Adjudication. Outside of law school, she enjoys ballet, playing the piano, and traveling. 


Spencer Muskopf – Notes & Comments Editor

Spencer Muskopf is a second-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. He is from Fort Worth, TX and graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Hospitality Management. During the summer of 2023, Spencer had the privilege of interning for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew at the Middle District of Florida. Spencer is a member of Moot Court and will be competing in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition in the spring, and he is also a Teaching Assistant for criminal law with Professor Podgor. Outside of law school, he enjoys hanging out with his fiancé and their cat.

Kylie Riordan is a third-year student and a Notes & Comments editor. She is from Orlando, Florida and graduated from University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Legal Studies. After graduation, she will begin her legal career as a Commercial Litigation Associate at Burr & Forman’s Orlando office. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Trusts and Estates with Professor Morgan. Outside of law school, she enjoys being a cat mom, going to the gym, and being in the sun.

Avery Searcy is a second-year student and a notes and comments editor. She is from Celebration, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in criminology. Prior to law school, Avery worked in customer service, sales, and her hometown church. She is currently the Chair of Pro Bono Opportunities for the Anti-trafficking Coalition and is involved in athletics. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Civil Procedure. Outside of law school, she enjoys cooking and outdoor activities.

Sierra Van Allen is a third-year student and Notes & Comments editor. She is from Rogers, Arkansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.A. in International Relations. Prior to law school, Sierra worked as a paralegal at Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP in Broomfield, Colorado. She is currently a Stetson Ambassador. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Land Use. Outside of law school, she enjoys kayaking and playing with her three dogs.

Marisa Infante is a second-year student and an assistant editor. She is from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in Art History. Prior to law school, Marisa received her Master of Philosophy in Classical Archaeology from the University of Oxford. She is currently an ambassador, an associate on Stetson Business Law Review, and Vice President of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society. Her favorite class at Stetson has been Civil Procedure and Torts. Outside of law school, she enjoys practicing yoga, and going to the dog beach with her French Bulldog puppy, Gibbs.

Jonathan Gardner – Assistant Research Editor

Jon Gardner is a second-year student and an Assistant Research Editor. He is from Coral Springs, Florida and graduated from UCF with a B.S.B.A. in Business Economics. Prior to law school, Jon worked on the in-house counsel team at AssuredPartners, an insurance brokerage headquartered in Orlando. He is currently a member of the Dispute Resolution Board’s negotiation team. His favorite class at Stetson has been Research and Writing II – Employment Law. Outside of law school, he enjoys watching college football, cooking, and spending time with his fiancée and their two Australian Shepherds.  


R. Tyler Vansant – Assistant Online Editor

Tyler Vansant is a 3L student and the Online Forum Assistant Editor. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, he holds a B.A. in economics from Auburn University and an M.B.A. in finance from Georgia State University. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Land for a large national homebuilder in the Tampa-Sarasota market. His main interests are in the areas of land-use and environmental law. Outside of law school and his career, he enjoys fishing, golf, and traveling with his family (wife of 24 years and three sons).

Ronny Legare is a second-year student and an assistant marketing editor. He is from Jacksonville Beach, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in economics. Prior to law school, Ronny was actively involved at Florida State University where he was involved as a financial peer mentor, the student conduct board, and homecoming court. He is currently involved with the Student Bar Association as a 2L rep and Alumni Committee Chair, the Stetson Law Ambassadors as Deputy Chief of Tours and Admissions, and as a teaching assistant for contracts. Caleb is a second-year student and the Assistant Local Government Editor. He is from Brandon, Florida and graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in History. Prior to law school, Caleb spent five years working at his father’s estate planning law firm. His favorite classes at Stetson have been Real Property and Contracts. Outside of law school, he enjoys reading about American history, watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and going on walks with his wife, Hannah.
