“Students who study abroad grow both personally and professionally,” said Kristen McConnell, Associate Director of International Programs.

Stetson hosted a Study Abroad Fair on Feb. 5 in the Mann Lounge. Study Abroad Fairs are held throughout the academic year.

By studying around the world, law students can learn a variety of soft skills, including leadership, communication, problem-solving, and adaptability. McConnell said that the study abroad experiences can be life-changing and transformative.

Stetson launched its first summer study abroad programs in 1998 in Estonia and Granada with the goal of providing a sound legal education relevant to the global legal community. Today, Stetson Law offers study abroad programs in Spain, the Netherlands, England, South Africa, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, India and Ireland.
