On Friday, June 13, Laura Zuppo organized a panel presentation at the NAPLA (Northeastern Association of Pre-Law Advisors) Annual Meeting at Cornell in Ithaca, New York. NAPLA is the oldest and largest of the regional pre-law advising organizations, and the panel was on the subject of "Guiding a Student's Choice When You Know (or Suspect) Law School is Not the Right Choice." The panel included perspectives from pre-law advisors, an undergraduate professor, Professor Adams, and deans of admissions.

Charles Rose

We've just received word that Professor Charlie Rose has been selected as the co-recipient of the 2008 Faculty Professional Award, which is presented annually by The Florida Bar's Standing Committee on Professionalism. Professor Becky Morgan and Professor Bobbi Flowers are past recipients of this award, so Stetson has been well represented among the other law schools since this award was started. Professor Rose will receive the award at the Judicial Luncheon on June 19, in Boca Raton.
