Luz Nagle

Luz works with the ABA Committee on the Rule of law and Corruption. This Committee just finished a white paper for the ABA in which she had an active role. In addition, Luz will be participating in the International Rule of Law Symposium on Monday, April 16, 2007, in New York. The focus of the program is to discuss the white papers developed by the different committees. The papers outline what the ABA can do in areas of Economic Development, Human Trafficking, Corruption, Independent Judiciary, Corporate Responsibility and the Environment. This conference is by invitation only and advances the ABA's Plan of Action in advancing the rule of law at home and around the world.

Today Ellen is moderating a panel titled "The Challenge of Cooperation: Consideration of the Ethical and Managerial Implications of the Organizational Sentencing Guidelines, Thompson Memorandum, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, etc." at the Symposium on Corporate Criminality: Legal, Ethical, and Managerial Implications at Georgetown. She also spoke on a panel regarding possible reforms; her paper will be published with others in the American Criminal Law Review.
