Educational malpractice lawsuits certain to multiply

News of Professor Peter Lake, the director of the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Law and Policy, writing in The Chronicle of Higher Education that the recent lawsuit launched against Monroe College by an unemployed graduate may be the start of a trend toward “educational malpractice” lawsuits against colleges and universities, appeared in the iContact Community “Academica’s Top Ten.”

Bob Davis: Learning from the Pain of the Past

News of students from Stetson and USF meeting the family of Willie Brewster, a man killed by racist terrorists 44 years ago, ran in the Anniston Star. Willie Brewster was killed on his way home from his job in Anniston because of the color of his skin. The students were traveling as part of a Civil Rights Bus trip/course.
