The Court allowed people on death row to make last-minute claims that drugs used in lethal injection are cruel and unusual punishment in violation on the Eighth Amendment.

The man is accused of raping and killing a woman in South Carolina after leaving prison and Professor Batey agreed to discuss sentencing minimums for crimes.
