Professor Clark Furlow talked with Paul Swider, a reporter with the St. Petersburg Times, about issues surrounding a referendum by citizens of St. Pete Beach. Citizens sought referendums to oppose the city’s plans to encourage mixed-use development and tall resort buildings. Judge Walt Logan threw out three of the four referendum questions in January, and the group petitioned the judge to reconsider. Furlow has also agreed to be on hand for additional inquiries from Swider on local issues.
