Stetson University College of Law has announced that Michael Farley will lead its college relations office. Farley, who previously served as assistant dean of student life, has been named assistant dean of college relations.

Stetson University has been listed among the top 25 law schools for Hispanics.

The J. Ben Watkins Award for Excellence in the Legal Profession was awarded at Stetson Law Review banquet.

Starting in June 2009, Stetson will offer an online degree in law and aging for non-lawyers.

Stetson and Tirella Consulting will present an expert witness seminar Dec. 10 in Tampa.

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum delivered the commencement address to 87 graduates on Dec. 20.

Arbitration teams placed first and second at regional competition in Chicago and will go to national final.

Ken Wooden, founder of Child Lures Prevention, will present a lecture on child safety on the Stetson University College of Law campus, 1401 61st St. S. in Gulfport, at 12:15 p.m. on April 17 in the Great Hall.

 Stetson University College of Law’s Elder Consumer Protection Program will present free seminars for seniors throughout Florida about the dangers of consumer fraud at events from August through December.
