Stetson Law Raises $60k for Storm Relief – But Need is Still Great
Donations of funds, food, and school essentials are helping our students recover from back-to-back hurricanes. Back-to-back hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the community surrounding Stetson University College of Law. As Gulfport, the Pinellas beaches, and parts of St. Petersburg were particularly hard-hit, some Stetson Law students lost everything from laptops and textbooks to homes and vehicles. Hurricane Milton Update
The physical condition of campus continues to improve every day. In the surrounding community, utilities that have not yet been restored are being restored quickly. Gulfport has lifted its boil water advisory. Duke Energy is anticipating full restoration of power by the end of the day Thursday, October 17.
