Journalist and Freedom Rider Honored at Commencement

Journalist and civil rights advocate John Seigenthaler Sr. addressed Stetson University College of Law’s commencement ceremony on Dec. 18. Freedom Rider Ernest “Rip” Patton Jr. was also honored at the ceremony, which took place at the Pasadena Community Church.

Advocacy Teams Win Two Competitions on Nov. 13 and 14

The Stetson Law Moot Court team won the Legal Ethics and Professionalism Moot Court Competition on Nov. 13 at Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Ga. Two teams of Stetson Law students won both first and second place at the American Bar Association Law Student Division Regional Arbitration Competition on Nov. 14 at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.


NCSTL: Forensic Technology Innovator

National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology and the Law was awarded as forensic technology innovator.


University of Miami Wins Regional ABA LSD Negotiation Competition at Stetson

A team from the University of Miami won the Region 4 ABA/LSD Negotiation Competition Nov. 6-7 at Stetson Law in Gulfport, Fla.
