Stetson University will soon unveil a strategic plan, and the entire community is gearing up to move Stetson forward … Forward Together.

To kick off what’s to come, Stetson’s alumni and friends shared the excitement at an event, called Forward Together, on March 31, in the Stetson Room.

More than 150 attendees interacted with students from the School of Music, who brought instruments to create an “ instrument petting zoo.” Sound domes brought in the reverberations of other musical talents of students and faculty.

With a nod to one of the many wonderful programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, a polling wall played off an emerging endeavor, known as the Stetson University’s Center for Public Opinion Research.

Stetson’s College of Law offered guests (at the “bar”) signature cocktails – the John B. mojito and the Henry DeLand old fashioned.

Alumna Lorna Jean Hagstrom “dove into” the fun of the event that celebrated Stetson’s new endeavors.

Alumni and friends “dove into” the School of Business Administration’s “ball pit,” with a reminder that the experiential programs are a hallmark of a Stetson education.

Catering staff represented Hatter pride in athletic jerseys, and John B the Mascot joined in the fun!

President Christopher F. Roellke addresses the crowd of alumni.

Guests met old friends and made new ones, and connected with Stetson in true Hatter spirit.

President Christopher F. Roellke, PhD, shared brief remarks about Stetson’s future direction, which the campus has heard in various town hall meetings and other settings.

An event recap video features highlights from the evening.

The Development and Alumni Engagement team are thankful for all participants, attendees and campus partners across the university.
