Experience the Magic: Christmas Candlelight Concert Tickets Go on Sale Oct. 1

For more than 100 years, the School of Music’s jubilant choirs and musicians have been captivating audiences with its annual, breathtaking performances. They’ve literally evolved into a global Stetson event — dedicated to inclusive, sacred music from various cultural and religious traditions celebrated during the holidays.

This year is no different, with the 2023 Christmas Candlelight Concerts on Dec. 6-9, showcasing more than 150 student musicians. They include the Stetson University Concert Choir; the Hatter Choir, conducted by Timothy Peter, DMA; the Stetson Chorale, conducted by Sandra Peter, DMA; and instrumentalists from the Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band. Also, Boyd Jones, DMA, will be the featured organist.

The musical repertoire for 2023 continues the tradition of a warm, welcoming spirit on stage at Stetson’s historic Lee Chapel and the grand First United Methodist Church in Orlando. As is tradition, each concert will conclude with “Silent Night,” sung by multiple choirs as they light candles and close their performance.

Also as is tradition, tickets will sell out quickly. Advanced tickets are required. Ticket sales go on sale Oct. 1 — online only. General admission tickets are $40 each.
