Spirited volunteers: ABA Law Student Division at Stetson Law coordinates with St. Petersburg Free Clinic

The American Bar Association Law Student Division at Stetson Law coordinated with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic on Nov. 18-19 to create the most spirited cheer station along the half marathon course during the St. Petersburg Run Fest. Four Stetson student volunteers, Ashaley Boatwright, Jennifer L. Hutchins, Jessica Marichal and Cassidy Petersen, participated in the event.
“We were stationed outside the St. Petersburg Free Clinic’s Beacon House Men’s Residence cheering along their Hunger Heroes team including one of their own residents from Beacon House, Jonathan,” said Hutchins, who serves as the executive board chairperson of the ABA Law Student Division at Stetson Law.
The St. Petersburg Run Fest will donate $1 per mile of the Sunshine City 5K Race to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
