Stetson University’s 2014 Homecoming celebration will feature actor and comedian Craig Robinson, Friday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Edmunds Center, 143 E. Pennsylvania Ave.  The show will be open to the public and free of charge.

Robinson is best known for his roles in the films Pineapple Express, Miss March, Shrek Forever After, Hot Tub Time Machine, This is The End, and his role as Darryl Philbin on The Office.  He has also starred in several Tyler Perry films and did voiceovers for The Weinstein Company’s first animated feature Escape from Planet Earth. Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is currently being filmed and is set to hit theaters in December 2014.

Robinson also has a music career on the side. He has produced music for many of the films he has starred in including tracks from Hot Tub Time Machine.  He and his brother also sing in a band together.

Standup comedian Emily Heller will be the evening’s opener.

• Saturday, Nov. 8: Homecoming Tailgate and Carnival at 12:00 noon, Alabama Ave.
