• Stetson Associate Professor of Philosophy Joshua Rust, PhD, was mentioned Aug. 7 in Project Syndicate article, “Can Ethics Be Taught?” The article talks about research by Rust and another philosopher that shows “philosophy professors specializing in ethics behave no better than professors working in other areas of philosophy; nor are they more ethical than professors who don’t work in philosophy at all.”

• Professor of Psychology Christopher Ferguson, PhD, authored the Progressive Charlestown article, “Video Game Link is Fake Science: Stop Blaming Video Games for Mass Killings,” on Aug. 14, and was mentioned in other news outlets for his research showing no link between violent video games and criminal violence.
