He served in the Army for 20 years, including a tour in Vietnam, and retired with a rank of Lt. Colonel. After retiring from the Army, he moved back to his hometown of Tarpon Springs where he opened an accounting office. He is a former Tarpon Springs City Commissioner and had been a member of the AHEPA and Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs.
