BBA degree in management and marketing and a reserve commission through Army ROTC May 1966. Married and had two sons. Spent two years on initial active duty with the Army Signal Corps, one year in Viet Nam. Retired in 1994 as a Lt. Colonel after 28 years of combined active and reserve service. Employed with Eastern Air Lines and a subsidiary, System One, for 21 years from 1968 to 1989 as a telecommunications specialist and project manager. Employed by Sprint Long Distance for six years as a marketing manager. Obtained an MBA in information systems management from Kennesaw State University in 1992. Employed by IT firms in the Dallas, TX area for nine years from 1995 to 2004 as a corporate marketing executive until retiring from the work force in 2004. Returned to the Atlanta area to take care of two aging parents who are both gone now. Seasonally employed by H&R Block as a senior tax advisor for 11 seasons.

Having previously travelled to six of the seven world continents, I try to plan and execute at least one or more major world travel adventures to locales I have not been to each year. Trying to convince my wife to book a cruise to Antarctica so we can step foot on the seventh continent.
