After receiving his BS from the University of Illinois , Bob went on to serve his country in the Army. After 21 years of service, which included numerous tours in Vietnam, he retired in 1975 as a Lieutenant Colonel to attend law school at Stetson University. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1978 and practiced law until 2011. Bob touched many lives, not only through his two careers, but also through his involvement in the community. He devoted his time to volunteering and to his memberships in numerous organizations, including the Sertoma Club, Breakfast Optimist Club and Zone 9 Optimist Club.
