Lieutenant Colonel USA, B.A., M.A. Alfred L. Wehrle, the Stetson University Registrar originally spent 25 years working for the U.S. Army. He became the ROTC Director at Stetson University in 1977 and later began functioning as the university registrar in the summer of 1982 retiring in 1998. Sports announcer for Stetson basketball games was one of his gifts to the university.
