I am a 1962 Stetson ROTC grad and served as an artillery officer for two years, stationed at the 5th Infantry Division (Mech), Ft. Carson, CO. I was on active duty from Sep ’62 through Sep ’64 and left as a Battery Commander. Max Cleland was a friend of mine while at Stetson, as was Gary Formet (now deceased). We were all in the same fraternity. As you know, both were severely wounded in Vietnam. As an aside, I have served for the past 14 years as an adjunct professor in the Master of Accountancy program at Stetson.
