AUDITIONS for [title of show]!

Announcing AUDITIONS for [title of show]

Jeff and Hunter, two self-confessed nobodies in New York, make a pact: They will write an original musical and submit it to a festival. The only catch? The deadline is in three weeks! No worries though. They’ll just write a musical about writing a musical. Frequently hilarious, occasionally heartbreaking, and thoroughly inspiring, [title of show] is a love story celebrating individuality and creativity.

Auditions will be held:
December 3, 5:00 – 6:30 and 7:30 – 9:00
December 4, 5:00 – 6:30 and 7:30 – 9:00
December 5, 6:00 – 9:00 (Callbacks)

at Stetson Theatre Arts’ “Second Stage” Theatre located in the Museum of Florida Art, 600 N. Woodland Blvd.

For the audition, you will be asked to perform a monologue (one minute in length) and a song selection.  There will be an accompanist at each audition session.  If you are using recorded music however, then you must provide your own set of speakers.

If you are invited to attend callbacks, you will then be asked to read from the play.

You only need to attend one of the audition sessions listed above, but you are welcome to attend more if you would like to gain more experience.

Auditions are open to all Stetson students and to all community members.

The Performance Dates for this musical are February 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 at 8 pm, and February 17 and 24 at 3:00 pm

Please Note: As our theatre productions are an integral part of the theatre arts curriculum at Stetson University, all Stetson students participating in a production will be enrolled in a one-hour credit course entitled Theatre Production.
