6th Circuit Public Defender Pro Bono Opportunity

The Public Defender’s Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court is excited to announce that our Stetson Pro Bono DWLSR Program has officially re-opened. Participation requires a minimum commitment of coming into the office at least one day a week, for four hours.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in criminal law, particularly, the administrative side of the court system and the ramifications of criminal convictions. The program runs parallel with Stetson’s Spring semester and lasts until the last day of classes for the Spring semester, April 20, 2023.

Students who sign up to volunteer will learn the nuances of Driver Licenses issues, how to read a driving record, and motion drafting skills. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please contact Joshua Santoro: [email protected].
